Daniel Jacobeen, Principal, a native Virginian, has always had a keen interest and desire to create, from drawing to construction in the built environment. Daniel received his B.S. of Architecture and Masters of Architecture from The Catholic University of America and began his career working at the prestigious Georgetown firm Overmyer Architects. He also worked at the well known Adams Architects office in Alexandria, Virginia prior to founding Jacobeen Architecture. Daniel resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife. He spends his spare time in the outdoors, volunteering in the community, and remodeling his own home. Daniel is a registered architect in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Florida.
Jessica Rivera, Associate, is a graduate of The Catholic University of America School of Architecture where she excelled and won first place in the school comprehensive building design competition. Her technical expertise and attention to detail pair well with historic projects. She is responsible for the production of construction documents at Jacobeen Architecture. Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys watching movies, cooking, drawing and maintaining an active lifestyle.
Robert "Bud" Adams, Collaborator, a life long Washington area resident, has over thirty years experience in architectural design working on many of the finest properties in the region. He is an expert in traditional residential design and construction having renovated several of his own houses. His work has been featured in numerous publications over the years. Bud currently serves on the Alexandria Board of Architectural Review and is a registered architect in Virginia. He resides in Old Town Alexandria with his wife and enjoys traveling and the arts.
